Overview

General Medicine covers the diagnosis and non-surgical management of common health problems in adults — from short-term illnesses such as fever and infections to long-term conditions such as high blood pressure and thyroid disorders.

At Sajivan Hospital, consultations are led by Dr Prashant J. Thakkar, Consultant Physician. The focus is on understanding your symptoms in the context of your overall health, explaining what is happening in simple language, and agreeing a plan you are comfortable with.

If your condition needs specialised care beyond what we provide, we will explain why and guide you to the right specialist.
